I am so glad you came by! Thank you so very much for taking the time to come and check what I had prepared for you here.

As you know us for many years now, useless to remind you how happy I have been with Joseph's school for all these wonderful teachers, programs, environment they have provided him.

It has not been always a promenade, and there are times when things go in a smooth pace, and some times when it is more rocky. But it is ALWAYS a place he simply loves to go to.

As you probably know, FECA is the Foundation that allows this place to simply exist. The State finances education for our special and extraordinary children, with a ratio of 6 to 1, but DMLC - Joseph's school - is a unique school where they provide 1/1 ratio. Yes, one adult per child, one highly trained and dedicated educator for each very special kid that attends.

This is only possible because each and every parent conducts a serious fundraiser effort each year.

Just to give you a rough idea, in order to function to its fullest potential, FECA has to raise 13,000 USD per child, yes thirteen thousand dollars each year. This sounds like a college tuition, doesn't it? Well, I won't tell you what it cost society to have our children institutionalized instead. And our children live in our community, most of the time very successful and productive lives thanks to the education they received younger.
