This is my birthday today. I share it with my mother. I also share it with my friends, in the sense that they all see my date of birth of Facebook! This is thrilling.
My birthday wish today is to enable my elder son, who is sixteen and a half and has severe autism, to wish me a happy birthday, unprompted. To that effect, he is working very hard, every day, and in this endeavor, his strongest support has been his school, the Devereux Millwood Learning Center.
This fabulous school is funded thanks to F.E.C.A.
